When I set out to buy my first home, I was expecting something arduous, disappointing, and possibly fruitless. Living in a hot market, I knew that as an introductory buyer I was at a disadvantage. It took less than a month from the time we were pre-approved and officially looking at homes, for Dan to get us an accepted offer on the house that met all of our needs and "nice to haves." What really stood out to me, was as soon as we had any interest in a home Dan was on the phone with the listing agent and had all the details on the home we needed (sometimes before we made it to the next house). Karen got us a *CASH* offer to sell this spring (2024) *within one week* for far more than I expected (and I think more than she anticipated as well), with a *10-day escrow*. In 2020, Karen closed a purchase for us a month or two after COVID shut everything down, and negotiated an even more incredible deal. In both cases, she was extraordinarily helpful with myriad details that aren't part of a realtor's obligations. Lisa spent more than a year working with me to find the perfect house for me and my kiddos. I met Vanessa at an open house one year ago, when I had just recently moved down to San Diego. At the time I had a mere $50 in my savings and I wasn't ready financially for a big investment. Nonetheless, Vanessa spent time to help me educate myself on the home buying process, meet with lenders and financial advisors for future planning, and she checked in on me every once in a while to see how I was doing.
